  22. Any particular reason for chosing Netware?  It is quite expensive and
  23. makes it difficult to connect non-PC's.  I would suggest Linux for the
  24. server.

  26. Linux, out of the box, serves files via NFS.  AmiTCP has an NFS client so
  27. you're good there.

  29. I don't know of a free NFS client for the PC.  However, there is a free SMB
  30. server for Linux.  And there is a free SMB client for the PC.

  32. Printing should be doable with lpr/lpd.

  40. Lots more.  I paid $279 for my Ariadne.  A Golden Gate card + PC ethernet
  41. would be cheaper.  The ethernet card in my PC only cost be $21.
